Prado is a family project — and that matters to everything we make.

Between us, we bring a deep love for the game, roots that run straight back to the island, and over 15 years of professional apparel design and product development experience. We didn't stumble into this. Every paddle shape, every design detail, every product decision has been made with care — because when you build something with family, you don't cut corners.

We started with balls and paddles to find our people on the court. But the vision was always bigger: to build the first activewear brand that truly belongs to the pickleball community. Gear that performs. Gear that means something. Gear that looks as good at brunch as it does on the court.

The spirit of the Batey

Before there was pickleball, there was Batu.

The Taíno people — the original people of Puerto Rico — played Batu in the Batey: a ceremonial court at the center of the village. It wasn't just a game. It was community. Ritual. Identity. A place where people gathered, competed, and connected.

When we play pickleball, we feel that. The kitchen line, the soft hands, the way a great rally pulls a crowd in — it's the same energy. Different court, same spirit.

Every Prado product carries a piece of that story. The names, the symbols, the designs — they're not decoration. They're a reminder of where we come from and what we bring when we show up.
